Dr. Tequila Golden, DNP, AAPRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a doctorally prepared, dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at 5 Star Healthcare Consultants, Inc. With more than 25 years of healthcare experience, she has dedicated her career to nursing, advanced practice, and the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered care.

Dr. Golden earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with honors from St. Thomas University in 2026.

In 2022, while maintaining her full-time role at 5 Star Healthcare Consultants, Inc., Dr. Golden completed her Post-Master’s Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate at Florida State University. She provides comprehensive primary and psychiatric care through in-office appointments and secure telehealth sessions.

Dr. Golden earned her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from South University in Savannah, Georgia, in 2018. Her clinical training focused primarily on internal medicine. She also volunteers at Shepherd’s Hope Health Center, where she contributes to caring for patients in her community.

Dr. Golden is professionally affiliated with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Nurse Practitioners. She holds national board certifications through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Golden enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling.
